Vida recycled acid wash clay
One of the truly great things to come from the 80’s was acid wash, shoulder pads and lilac eye shadow had merit but acid wash, what a revelation.
The Vida clutch is made from a what was previously a vintage leather jacket from this era, but while the leather has aged beautifully the jackets style hasn’t fared quite so well, the longevity of leather often sees it outlasting the garments it is made into and so I have been collecting up these items when I see them and repurposing them into new wearable pieces, each one unique.
The Vida clutch is large enough for all your grab and go essentials, she has a zip top and a magnetic dome to keep your belongings safe, inside Vida is lined with black cotton drill and has multiple internal pockets to organize her contents.
Dimensions: 19cm tall x 29cm across x 4cm wide.
This bag has been made with up-cycled leather, it is part of our initiative to divert unwanted garments from our landfills and make good use of an existing resource. All garments have been carefully selected and the leather has been cleaned and reconditioned, however as leather is a natural product it will show signs of character, age, and use, we see this as adding to the distinct and unique characteristics of this piece.
