Made from New Zealand cowhide leather in a natural oil finish with custom Brass cast Japanese cherry twig fastening. This is an elegant and time enduring solution for your laptop, and documents. While the cherry blossom itself may be a symbol of transience in Japanese culture This piece is made from materials which will only gain more character with age and regular use.
This piece embodies an ethos of cultural exchange and references both Yuka’s Japanese cultural heritage and our collective place of residence in Aotearoa.
